Barry Clouse

Since beginning his accounting career in 1977, Barry Clouse has accumulated a wealth of experience in public accounting and business operations.

As Partner in Jennings & Clouse, Barry oversees the delivery of services to clients, including individual and business tax preparation, planning and consulting, estate tax preparation and planning, financial statement preparation, financial statement consulting and management consulting. “While I enjoy delivering all of the services certified public accountants offer, most of my experience is concentrated in the area of small business and individual income taxes,” says Barry, who received his CPA certification in 1979.

Born in Gallatin, Barry was raised in Portland, Tennessee. After receiving an Associate’s Degree in Business (summa cum laude) from Volunteer State Community College, Barry transferred to Western Kentucky University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting (Magna cum Laude). After graduation, he joined the firm of Chipman & McMurray as a staff accountant and was named partner in 1985. In 1989, Barry joined the firm of Robert Jennings, CPA as a manager and became a partner in the firm in 1996.

A Certified Public Accountant, Barry is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is on the Board of Directors of Fresh Start Resources and a founding board member of Cumberland Crisis Pregnancy Center. He is a member of Community Church of Hendersonville.

When he’s not serving clients, Barry enjoys reading, sports and golf. He has six children and nineteen grandchildren. He and his wife, Linda, live in Hendersonville.
